This is a topic that hits close to home for myself because I am the child of immigrants who were in the immigration process for 22 years, during which time they were considered illegal. Had this happened a decade ago and my parents been caught in one of the grocery store raids, this could’ve been my siblings and I. I know this started during Clinton and Obama but Trumps Zero tolerance policy has escalated it by charging them with felony. It does not matter what side of the fence you are on about immigration, this is inhumane.

Jk Rowling herself started a non-profit to stop the mistreatment of orphans around the globe. This is a Harry Potter related issue as we are fans of this amazing series that taught us to be better people and condemn these sorts of things in our society. So children are getting punished for something someone else did??? Lets put you in prison because your mother/father etc murdered someone, its the same thing. Ripping a child away from their mother and/or father can cause long term psychological damage. Shouldn’t have broken the law.

Those ‘cages’ are the sizes of schools with everything a kid could want, and they aren’t allowed to stay any longer than 20 days. And the reason we bring up Obama doing it is because no one raised a fuss THEN, so why NOW? One those children during the Obama administration were unaccompanied.
