Who wants to see NKOTB? I’m taking an honest poll to see how many of us 30 something year olds still like them! This isn’t a question on wether you want to go with me, I’m just curious in general. Like this status if you would still go see NKOTB lol. YOu can get this 30 years of NKOTB signatures New Kids on the Block shirt. Only a true NKOTB fan would understand (and my girls of course!): My 13 year old self was dying!!!!(and my 43 year old self) It’s been 30 years of going to concerts and chasing these guys around, dreaming and wishing to meet them… thank you to my husband for getting me front row seats to see my boyfriend… Though not all the boys were there, my favorite was!

Turned on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for the kids and was just about to turn it off when NKOTB came on and I was instantly transported back 30 years mentally. Wow. Am I that old? Obviously too old to figure out how to video it and send to my NKOTB loving friends. Hope y’all caught it!I loved watching all you Walnut Grove girls with your NKOTB crushes because it reminded me of mine back in the 60’s. I liked the Beatles but Paul Revere and the Raiders were my big band crush! Ha! Ask your mothers if they knew this band and the after school show, “Where the Action Is”. The Raiders played on this teen dance/hit countdown after school show at 4:00 p.m. I think it was on every week day.
I never thought when I was 15, that 30 years later that Jordan Knight of NKOTB would be at the ball drop on New Years! Haha! And Levi just told me that wasn’t Jenny McCarthy but some other lady. Time for bed! Happy New Years! It’s OK. I thought J-Lo was a guy at first. So all things being… equal… Jenny’s changes were … different too! Like I should be so critical! My kids don’t know the 80’s were ever out! One day they may figure it out, but for now, they rock out and sing some of the funniest songs on their own because I have happily turned back the clock for them.
I feel old really old
It’s official! 30 years after Hangin’ Tough and 10 years since they reunited, it’s time for another NKOTB tour!!! So excited!!! Except for Tiffany, it’s a great lineup ( and yes, 30 years later I still harbor not-so-nice feeling about her after “dating” my favorite New Kid, even though he’s gay). 30 Years Ago this month I was given the opportunity to share the stage with the “New Kids on the Block” for the “Hangin Tough World Tour” in my hometown of Sacramento, Ca. Thank you NKOTB for believing in me then and sharing your blessings. OMG my friend just told me Hangin Tough by NKOTB came out 30 years ago omg I feel old really old.
