Glenbrook North High School – 2300 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL (not the school where they filmed the rest of the movie. Instead, this is about 7 miles away, at the same school where they filmed Ferris Bueller) – Obviously this field has changed quite a bit over 34 years. This was our best guess with the info we had. I think we have it right. – 1985. ‘Don’t You…Forget About Me’. Until just now I’d never watched The Breakfast Club before. I can’t say whether I liked it or not because I’m left so confused by it all. I mean, Mr Vernon just let those kids walk out when they had done some major damage to school property and committed a few felonies. Also, 80% of the kids were making out next to their parents cars while waiting to get picked up. How was 1984 so very wild west?
