Oh My Gosh! We sent one of our volunteers up to Fort Bend Animal Shelter yesterday to check on and temperament test a dog, which she did. She then walked passed this kennel, and backed up and stopped in her tracks. There was this old German Shepherd Dog laying there looking like he had no life left in him. He was laying in his own feces. He could barely get up. She contacted me immediately and asked if Sauver Des Chiens could take him in. We COULDN’T no foster, no funds. Brooke left and when she got home, she contacted me again, said she was going to go back and I said WE CAN’T – NOT take him in.

This is what we are here to do. We don’t have a place for him, but we have a big heart and are reaching out to each and everyone of you to help us. We still need a foster and funds for this beautiful old soul. Have you got German Shepherd I support putting animal abusers to sleep shirt? Would you please help in anyway you can? Thinking about how many people had passed him by, not only at the shelter, but on the street, this does not happen to a dog overnight. This is months of neglect, abuse, abandonment. Someone had to see him somewhere! If we as a society continue to let this happen then we are doomed. We found out he was chipped with a Mexican chip, but it was not registered. Shame if this dog was just turned loose to die by himself…that is inhumane. We here at Sauver Des Chiens will help Ivar now Ivan have a restful, peaceful, loving rest of his life. Because that is what we do. We don’t turn our backs on the helpless…we march right in and pull our resources and find new ones.
