Happy Pi Day! 3.14 are the first three digits of the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, also known as Pi. Pi is a constant number, meaning that for all circles of any size, Pi will be the same. We’re celebrating today with some Oreo Pudding Pie, how about you? Happy “Pi Day” (3.14)! What’s the big deal? Us math geeks celebrate this number because without it we would not be able to do cool stuff, like the smoothly-graded rainbow colors in this image. Happy Pi Day to geeky colleagues, number nerds and math pi lovers everywhere! March 14 = 3/14 = 3.14. I’ve honored this special day with glass fusing art to share with faculty and students!!!

A former teacher friend who is a “pi geek” made blueberry mini pies and shared them at a meeting today. The blueberries were from Maine. It reminded me of an outing Charlie and I had when I visited him—massive blueberry fields near his place. HAPPY PI DAY|| Just a square who likes to celebrate the attributes of a circle! Armed with my weapon of math destruction (calculator watch), I celebrated one of my favorite holidays in my favorite nerdy equations dress! One could say that I’m not your (Sum of x ÷ N) Q*T*3.14 (average cutie pi). Hope you celebrated pi day irrationally!! Have a nice day with Happy Pi Day 314 shirt!
