So I’ve been crushing it on these lately at my “every cast” ponds. But I realize these guys won’t work everywhere. What other worms do you guys do really well on? Senkos (in this case shim e stick, same thing) are universal. I just hold my rod, steady myself, wiggle my worm and bam she’s hooked. Especially on banks. Flip it pitch it skip it, cast it far, Texas rignit Carolina wacky who cares. Always carry them. Period. However standard ribbon tails power tails and such are always good too when you wanna switch it up.

Frankly if I were on a bank and had to limit to one bait it would be a senko. I don’t care where I am. Second place is split between the plopper or a frog, and my chatter buzz baits spinners cranks and rattle traps become situational to the conditions rather than the spot. A few parts of the year I might favor a craw jig setup or something with a little more profile over the senko but those times don’t really mean you CANT use a senko.
That’s just me though. Strike kings have the best action of any wacky worm. I use them to test out any Lake. Personally I like the red and black or the red speck color. I could catch fish on those anywhere. I just hold my rod, steady myself, wiggle my worm and bam she’s hooked. The problem is they’ve seen Senkos a ton in most lakes and ponds and get smart to certain baits and dont work good in WIND!
