This pretty piece is so cute and just a must have, with beautiful Poppy curtains at the sides tied with jute rope and chicken wire for that country look at the front. This piece is a statement cabinet for your home that’s for sure. Painted in a colour called simplicity which is a white and sealed with satin varnish. I told the story about the first little curio I purchased from a woman that I overpaid on. It’s in the first picture. Can you believe I found a second curio that is exactly the same. I had to snatch it up. Now I have more room to put my glass hens on nests. These photos were taken with my iPhone so they are not the best. But I’m so in love with these cute little curios. Hope you got a better deal on the second one. I own two smaller curios (one corner and one not) We inherited the corner one from his mom when she passed because he had bought it for her.

I was at an auction one night and the auctioneer couldn’t get bids on furniture and it made him mad so he asked if anyone would not even give a dollar and I said $5, he replied SOLD what pieces do you want and I turned around and named seven of them and got them all for $35 dollars. Another lady came over and said “darn I was going to try to get that shelf unit (not the curio which is what I was originally bidding on) so I let her pay me the $5 and take it. My husband was fit to be tied because we had to rent a small U haul to get all of it on and then the day we picked it up they threw on 2 more pieces that hadn’t sold for free!
