So sick. I may not be Hawaiian by blood, but you don’t have to be to see that this is a blatant desecration of sacred land. To see that declaring this an official state of emergency when it is nothing more than Hawaiians protecting what is rightfully theirs, is wrong. We stand in solidarity with the Ku Kia‘i Mauna, the hundreds of Hawaiians protesting the massive 30 meter telescope set to be built on top of their sacred mountain, Mauna Kea. No permission was given by the Kanaka Maoli (Indigenous Hawaiians), so Kamaka and Kama’aina (non-Indigenous people of the land) have come together to protest and protect the mountain from further desecration.

This resistance has been happening for a long time, but with construction due to start in September, the time to act is now. Do you like this Ku Kiai Mauna shirt?
