I’ve been tattooing since 2014. I started my apprenticeship at Crimson Heart right after I graduated high school; about a year into the apprenticeship I started tattooing. Tattoo Style: The style that I most enjoy doing is black and grey realism, especially animals and faces. I really like the look of black and grey because it always looks elegant and it ages well over time. Once upon a time there was a girl who really loved dogs and had tattoos shirt is available. Inspirations: There are two tattoo artists that have greatly influenced me during my career. Carlos Torres and Nikko Hurtado. They are two realism artists that I greatly admire and one day hope to be on their level. Torres focuses on black and grey tattoos. His work consists mostly of wildlife and women, which are the two subjects that are my favorite to tattoo. Hurtado mainly does color tattoos, with an emphasis on portraits. Portraits, whether animal or people, is what I would like to improve on and do more of. Looking at his tattoo work helps me grasp what I should be looking for in doing a well done realistic portrait.

Other art mediums: I enjoy drawing and painting when I’m not tattooing. Pencil on paper is my go-to medium if I’m feeling inspired or just need to let out some creativity, especially if I’m away from home since it’s the easiest to take with me. When I paint, I like to work with acrylics. They’re easy to work with and they don’t take too long to dry. One day I hope to get into oil painting and learn more about the medium. Personality: Three adjectives that describe my personality are inquisitive, affectionate, and adventurous.

Last vacation: On my last vacation, In November of 2018, I went on a caribbean cruise with my family. Dog or cat person?: Am I a dog person or a cat person? Both! I have both so I love them both. Goals for the next few years: Sometime within the next five years I would like to open my own online Etsy store to sell drawings, paintings, and prints of my artwork. Deciding to become a tattoo artist: I was about 17 when I decided I wanted to be a tattoo artist. Lisa has been tattooing my dad since I was a little girl and I would go with him to his tattoo appointments and watch him get tattooed. That’s how my interest in tattoos started.
