School bus driver I’m like a truck driver except my car go whines cries Vomits and won’t sit down mug now available. I remember : There are videos doing the rounds on social media of a daycare worker in Carltonville viciously hitting children over the head and shouting at them for vomiting. She is forcing these poor babies to clean up their mess. Babies are being hit for not sleeping. Some of it has now been removed by FB. Watching these videos has triggered deep trauma in me. I have been crying and I am so angry I want to lash out! This despicable woman has been arrested and is out on bail. I am so grateful for that. I sincerely hope that justice is served!

Whilst I am grateful for the person who videod all of this and who made this public, I don’t understand how they could have stood there and taped that though. There is a fine line between gathering evidence and allowing the abuse to continue. I would like to hear that side of the story. My sister and I were abused for so long by our domestic helper. Polly was forced to go back to work when Larney was a baby and so she & my dad & my brother left home early every morning. We were left in the care of a young woman from Malmesbury who lived with us. She slept in the same room as my sister and I. She terrorized us from the moment they left home.

She used to smack us, hit us with hangers and one day my poor two year old sister fell asleep and she burnt her cheek with the hot iron. She told my parents that Larney pulled it off the ironing board. They believed her. She swore us to secrecy. Threatened to kill us if we ever told my parents. My mom used to love bathing us. She said she would do it so that my mom could cook supper. So Polly never saw the signs of our abuse. And we were scared to death. Me more so because I was the one who could speak. So I had to protect my sister. One afternoon, the year before I started school, she got extremely angry with me and she filled the bath with boiling hot water.
