Happy New Year to all my friends and family. For those of you that know me pretty well, you all know of the love I have for the city where I was born, it’s people and it’s sports teams. I always knew one day my gypsy heart would lead me back to her. Well, I have decided the time was right to make that a reality. I bought my first house about a month ago in the city I love and am excited to be around family and my sports teams again. But don’t worry. The music won’t stop, nor will my relationships with my Nashville people. I will be around a few times a year to create more music with my very talented friends. Cheers to 2019 and look out for some new songs from me this spring, some pretty good ones I’ve written with some pretty good friends.

Back to the beach to begin 2019. I must admit 2018 was a bit difficult for me: many challenges, both physical and mental; things ending and beginning. At age 67, change becomes more of a challenge. We are still living the gypsy life but are ready for a more concentrated community. There the challenge is to find like minded people and to recognize and embrace diversity, both in thought and people. My pledge is to: never ignore a generous impulse, continue to replace ego with soul, find common ground in the midst of conflict, continue to explore my creative impulse and power, maintain and treasure old friendships, and new.
