“Tell Cersei it was me.” I am still SO excited I found my Olenna Pop figure at Mouse Con this past weekend. I was so sad when she was sold out everywhere. She is one of my favorite characters in Game of Thrones and easily my favorite Pop figure. What’s your favorite Pop Figure and why? I never watched it at all until binge watching early last year and now live it, it is quite a complex show with many alliances and characters so you do need to really listen and get into the plot. The first episode was awesome. Second and third not so. Although loved the end of last night’s episode lol…

Not sure if any major surprises will be uncovered this season. Will jon snow be the father of dragons (ice) and ride into battle with the lightbringer? Maybe he is azor ahai? Is there an ice dragon and if there is is it in The Wall? Experiencing so many issues – not just our household but many friends of mine also have the very same issues. Buffering, memory issues, quality, and over all UX and responsiveness don’t make for a pleasant experience. To say it’s frustrating would be an understatement! I’ve known all it was lady Olenna. Clue? After Joffrey died, she told her grand daughter Margaery that ” You didn’t think I would let you marry that monster. Do you?”
Game of Thrones next season
“… Don’t you touch her. I’m the king, not you.” She stared at him, incredulous. “What did you say?” The show makes you think of Joffrey, but book version is a bit more….well it’s more than just a power struggle going on. It’s also about a victimized boy standing up to his bullies. I’m not complaining here, just giving some depth to the scene. Tommen is just a child in the books, he was abused by Joffrey and heavily controlled by his mother. Margaery has gently gotten her thorns into him as she does in the show (minus giving him 3 kittens), but she also gives him self-esteem and the courage to stand up to Cersei, which of course drives her crazy.
“But I’m the king. The throne ‘belongs’ to me.” “Who told you that?” Cersei took a deep breath, so Dorcas could lace her up more tightly. She was a big girl, much stronger than Senelle, though clumsier as well. Tommen’s face turned red. “No one told me.” “’No one?’ Is that what you call your lady wife?” The queen could smell Margaery Tyrell all over this rebellion. “If you lie to me, I will have no choice but to send for Pate and have him beaten till he bleeds.” Pate was Tommen’s whipping boy, as he had been Joffrey’s. “Is that what you want?” “No,” the king muttered sullenly. “Who told you?” He shuffled his feet. “Lady Margaery.” He knew better than to call her queen in his mother’s hearing.
