My father was a rockstar. A musical and artistic pioneer as a young man, he headed up an American-style band he dubbed Los Larks — a Beatles-esque rock group that became a sensation in his homeland of Chile. My mother, my older brother and myself gladly shared him with so many over the years, but knew the man as he truly was: warm, stoic, shy, private, candid, funny as hell. He didn’t talk much, but when he did, you knew you had gotten his word. You also always got a good fart joke. Have a nice day with The beatles signatures shirt. Thank you!

Happy Birthday Diane! Nothing wrong with music from memory Lane! Enjoy! Does your Satelite receiver have an antenna in connector on it? When your satelite is covered with snow and useless, you should be able to watch your local channels. If I recall correctly, it was like 20 channels. We have never had a Satelite dish. We receive 26 channels from our regular TV antenna here. ABC, CBS, NBC, and others. I made the antenna myself. I just learned tonight that there’s a cover that can be put on it that allows it to receive signals and yet the snow slides off. Since my dish is sitting atop the south end of my (2 story) roof, it’s a challenge to reach. I’ll be getting one soon!

Love The beatles
Since it’s my birthday and the satalite is covered with snow so no TV… I decided to play a couple favorite albums growing up. Come Together on the Beatles “Abby Road” album only confirmed why Ringo was the best drummer ever! And then… Iron Butterfly’s “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” was a favorite of mine. (yes! All 17:05 minutes of it). I had this one in an 8 track (which Larry gave me)… Thank you and Mike for giving me Abby Road for Christmas. Thank you Andi Olds Macenski and Mike for giving me Abby Road for Christmas. And thank you Jeremy Halberg for giving me the Iron Butterfly album. I feel 50 years younger listening to these albums- they bring back such good memories.

12/8/80. The saddest date. Just as they have been my entire life, John and The Beatles were basically everything to five year old me. The beacon of creative genius rooted in peace and love. I had my mom’s old records, and she was starting to buy all the others that were missing from the first time around. I’ll never forget seeing that he had been killed on the nightly news and her trying to explain to me what happened.

I remember not being able to listen to or look at a Beatles record for what seemed like months afterwords, including the copy of Double Fantasy that I received as an early Xmas gift. 38 years on and we still need gun control, now. For the memory of John and all the other innocent, beautiful human beings who have been taken away senselessly by cowards with guns. Get The beatles signatures shirt now. Thank you!
