And yet we give more consideration to the lives of illegals than to these people who Volunteered to leave their families and Die if necessary. Make no mistake, that is what military service is, you agree to give your time, talent and your body if that’s what it takes. That’s not that long ago. Titled as if those wars are ancient history, just my parents and grandparents generations and I am sadly technically a millennial. Please remind everyone that March 29 is a day to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.

Thank You to those who came home and the many who did not. The war stole your youth, your mind, your health and your futures as do all wars. There is no way to give these back – There are no words, there is no song that will heal your wounds. All we can give to you is our gratitude for taking the Oath and doing the best you you could do.
