Went to Aldi’s today. At the roadway entrance was a disabled Navy vet with a sign for help. I told my husband was going to give the veteran some $$, he agreed. My hubby to the veteran that he also served in the Navy and I told him my father as well as my grandfather servedcin the Navy. Had a nice little chat with the gentleman, all the while talking to him, not one other passerby stopped to help the veteran What has happened to this world?! So sad that a man serves his country and becomes disabled fighting for his country to protect all of the people in this country and this is how we repay him for his service by snubbing your nose up to him cause he’s asking for help! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!

Just a few dollars from everyone that comes in contact with this old dedicated veteran would help him a great deal! I GAVE WHY CANT YOU?!!! I haven’t been out there; however so many scamming ones out there. It really is hard to tell if they are the real deal or not. So I don’t think ppl are trying to be heartless. Gave him the bunch of bananas I had just purchased from aldi’s, he took them & threw them in the ditch & said he preferred money. Needless to say, he didn’t get any money.

Well the Democrats and Nancy Pelosi, sign a bill,no more he for Veterans, also my friend bought food for a veteran near walmart, what he did he threw in the garbage, he told her he wants money not that junk food,sometimes you don’t know what to do,but there’s some jobs out there,if you need money that bad. It’s the same guy who’s been out there before. Someone drops him off. We’ve seen him before and gave to him. The guy has been around for several years. I’ve purchased food for him. Sometimes he won’t take it saying he had health issues. One time he was looking for a ride south. I took him to Morrison where he said a friend would meet him. I think he has mental health issues. Where does he live when he’s not there? Sad.
