You could call her a crazy dog lady, (she does have over a thousand stray dogs), but this devoted animal lover has given them the best possible life. If I was a billionaire I would not give one penny to a politician, but I would buy a thousand acres and have my own dog food factory. I would produce the best food made for the hundreds of dogs I take in and find a market for all the dog poop. Was standing in line at the grocery store yesterday when I saw a woman get rejected because she was trying to bring her dog into the store. I heard the guy in front of me say to his friend “Oh look another crazy dog lady.” The term “Crazy Dog Person” is often used as an insult to people who are crazy about dogs because we know the power of what they’re capable of giving to humans. Little did they know their insults are actually a compliment. So yes my friend, I’m a crazy dog person.

I’m a crazy dog person and I love your show. I also work at a grocery store and many people try to bring their dogs in the store. Due to health department regulations only service animals are allowed in grocery stores in Dallas. People get abusive when told they must not bring their dogs inside. Why when the temperature is 107 outside are they dragging their animals along? I am the crazy dog lady. They know the laws but think they are the exception. Please educate people about when and where it is appropriate to take your pet!! Last week a couple brought their dog to a restaurant and were refused a table because of health laws.

They put their dog in their car in this heat! The owner of the restaurant refused to seat them and told them they would be harming the animal by leaving it in the car. Please Brandon do not advocate for this reckless behavior. I’m also a crazy dog lady, and proud of it! We lost two of our 4-pack within 6 months (one, a 14 year old senior had only been adopted less than 10 months before, the other, a 13 year old we’d adopted 7 years ago). We’ll be welcoming a new adopted rescue into our pack this Sunday and considering adding a fourth. I’ve been adopting/rescuing for over 45 years and won’t stop until I quit breathing.
